Launched the Railone app: 10 major rail services in the latest products of railroads, from ticket booking to journey planning

As part of a series of initiatives by Indian Railways, aiming to make passenger journeys smoother and more convenient, the government has introduced several changes since July.

In line with this, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw launched a new software application on Tuesday (July 1) on the 40th Foundation Day of the 40th Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), which applies to design, develop, develop, implement and maintain critical information systems for Indian Railways.

The newly launched app allows users to book a variety of tickets, conduct inquiries, plan trips and access services such as food on trains and railways – all in one place.

The Railone app is available for Android and iPhone users and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

According to CRIS, the app also includes features related to freight train service inquiries.

“It not only brings all the services in one place, but it also brings them together to provide users with a comprehensive Indian railway experience,” Cris said.

Railone also has a single login facility that relieves the burden on users to remember multiple passwords.

What if you are already using RailConnect or UtsonMobile?

Users who already use RailConnect or UtsonMobile applications do not need to create new credentials. They can log in to Railone using their existing username and password.

During the event, the minister noted that the Utsonmobile app did not receive a good response from users, and Railone’s goal is to address these shortcomings by providing a more comprehensive and user-friendly experience.

The minister also stressed the resilience and capacity of the two sectors of the Indian Railways State, noting: “There are only two government organizations in the country (defense and railways) that have the power and whatever the problem is, they have the ability to solve the problem.”
