We all see what happens after the credits Thunder and lightning. We jumped into the world for months Avengers: The End of the Worldin end Helmers Joe and Anthony Russo, Yelena, and the rest of the new Avengers all saw something very unique to fly toward the earth. The movie is very early, and it hopes we think what this is, but in a new interview, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige makes our own guess for the second time.
As we discussed earlier, in the final credit scenario, the New Avengers conveyed the news that a “super dimensional” ship entered the Earth’s atmosphere and saw a giant “4” ship on board, flying through space. This is accompanied by some notes from Michael Giacchino’s score Fantastic Four: Step Onethis is the only miracle movie Thunder and lightning and end. And, thanks to all the Fantastic Four and all the new Avengers endthe connection point does not require genius. These are the magical four, leaving their dimensions behind and entering the MCU.
still? Feige speaks in Empire magazine (with a quote that is not online yet apparently printed). Thunder/New Avengers End the points scene. “Their ship is Excelsior, and there is a magical four ship into the MCU…but I’m not sure they are the same ship,” Feige said. This means one of two things. First, Feige is just becoming Feige and trying to get people to argue and debate his films with vague but accepted statements from his trademark. Or, he provides us with a new puzzle.
As a record, we guess this is the first one. Obviously, Feige likes to mess with us and spark debate. He has been doing it for years and it is almost impossible, especially in future films. If you have any questions about something, Feige will tilt. So while the most obvious meaning is that this is the Fantastic Four, we can’t see any characters. If you want to be literally, it’s the grey area there.
For the sake of argument, assume that Feige’s meaning is true. This is a ship owned by or associated with the Fantastic Four, but they are not there. What else will happen? Maybe a character stole one of their ships? Maybe this is a late part of the story, sent for another reason? Or, are these other entire multiverse fantastic four teams? There are a million potential explanations, either of which may be correct.
Or, because Yelena doesn’t know what she’s looking at, because their computer system doesn’t know it, because we see the “4” and because we hear the music, it’s really the magic four.
