Lekud MP threatens to sue for leaking the identity of Agent Shinter

MK Tally Gotliv leaked the identity of Agent Shin Bet who married Antianyahu protester Shikma Bressler and received rare criticism from Mossad.

The state prosecutor announced Thursday that it is considering taking action to prosecute MK Tally Gotliv for her illegal reveal of the identity of a agent of Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency).

Gotliv was summoned twice for police interrogation on the matter, but did not show up. The survey began last summer.

Gotliv claims that her immunity as a member of parliament justifies ignoring the subpoena.

The prosecutor pointed out that her immunity did not extend that far, adding that it was not the target of parliamentary immunity.

The agent in question is the husband of protest leader Shikma Bressler, whose post on X revealed that his identity was rarely criticized by Mossad.

Shikma Bressler attended a rally against the Israel-Hamas war and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in Tel Aviv on May 29, 2025.

Gotliv wrote on X: “I contacted Shikma Bressler’s partner, Shikma Bressler (the inciteer and inciteer, the leader of the civil rebellion, who, along with her colleagues, led Israel to the disaster to the disaster, in order to fulfill my duty, and for this purpose, the immunity of my parliament exists.”

“Like I didn’t show up for the trial, I didn’t plan to attend the hearing.”

“The Attorney General is free to act, just as she sees fit, and I will stick to my immunity in the Parliamentary Committee and hope that MKS supports my position.”

“I suggest Gali Baharav-Miara begin drafting the High Court petition she plans to file against me,” Gotliff concluded.

Ben-Gvir speaks out to support Gotliv

“I fully support MK Tally Gotliv, who fearlessly fought for freedom of speech and exposed the truth to the public. The attempt to intimidate her through a criminal investigation is very disturbing,” said National Security Minister Itama Ben-Gvir in a statement.

“Turn the struggle between public and principle into a crime. MKGotliv acted out of a sense of mission, not from the intent of undermining national security, and the attempt to stop her would not succeed.”
