Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned on Friday that Donald Trump’s “disrespectful” tone of Tehran’s supreme leader may face serious consequences.
Araghchi said in a blunt post on X that if Trump really wants to make a deal with Iran, he must show respect, not insult Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Araghchi wrote: “The complexity and tenacity of the Iranians are known for countless hours of hard work and patience weaving on our grand rug. But our basic premise as a people is very simple, very simple: we know our value, cherish our independence, and never let anyone else of us decide our destiny.”
Araghchi’s most provocative line was his most provocative line when he mocked Israel’s dependence on the United States in recent military confrontations.
He wrote: “The great and powerful Iranian people show the world that the Israeli regime has no choice but to run to ‘daddy’ to avoid being flattened by our missiles.”
The sting is a claim to the long-standing us and the Israeli coalition, and is also a less subtle attempt to portray Israel as weak and dependent.
The post ended with a clear threat.
“If fantasy leads to more serious mistakes, Iran will not hesitate to reveal its true abilities, which will surely end the fantasy of Iran’s power. A good will will be well-intentioned and respectful.”

The wide edge of Araghchi comes days after the end of the war between Iran and Israel, less than a week after the United States destroyed the main nuclear sites of Iran’s Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan by Trump-ordered air strikes.
The 12-day conflict ended on June 24 under a ceasefire from the U.S. brokerage, but post-war tensions remain high. Khamenei announced that Tehran defeated Israel in the confrontation and even committed a “slap” from Washington.
Trump rejected Khamenei’s claim to be false and “stupid”. He quickly frozen any relief to Iran and claimed that he personally prevented Khamenei from being killed during the conflict, writing truth socializing, and he refused to let us or Israeli forces “terminate” Ayatollah, despite knowing his secret geographical location.

Araghchi also rejected President Trump’s recent claims that new nuclear talks are coming, telling reporters that “no negotiations are underway” and that Tehran will make a decision based on our national interests.
Foreign Secretary frankly denied any plans to meet with U.S. officials next week, contradicting Trump’s previous remarks and suggest diplomacy is back on track, Reuters reported.

“I hope Iran’s leadership is aware that honey is generally more than a diet for vinegar,” Trump wrote in The Society of Truth. “Peace!!!”
The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
