Police search for missing 9-year-old Melina Frattolin after abduction in New York

A 9-year-old girl is believed to have encountered “imminent danger” after being kidnapped on Saturday night in Lake George, New York.
New York State Police said Melina Galanis Frattolin last met at 9:40 pm on I-87 near Exit 22 near Lake George, New York. Authorities then issued an Amber alert.
Melina’s alarm reads, “In the case, the children are led by police to believe that they are imminent danger of physical injury and/or death.”
Melina is described as brown hair and eyes. She is 5 feet tall and weighs about 100 pounds. Police said she was wearing light shorts, a black and white striped shirt and white adidas sneakers.

Police said the suspect was unknown.
