The Luftwaffe has fled dozens of German citizens from Israel during ongoing hostilities with Iran.
The Ministry of Defense and Foreign Affairs said Friday night that two Airbus A400M military aircraft are currently on their way to Germany, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Affairs said Friday night.

German citizens were departing from Israel as part of the “diplomatic evacuation.”

Over the past two days, Germans and close family members have been taken on special flights – not directly from Israel, but from Jordan.
A plane arrived in Berlin on Thursday. On Wednesday, there are flights to Frankfurt. There were 345 people on both flights. These are charter flights; the Air Force does not participate.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs promoted Jordan’s departure. Another special flight in Jordan is scheduled to take place on Saturday.
Defense Minister Boris Pistorius thanked the soldiers. “We can rely on our German Wehrmacht. Our Air Force personnel are on the scene after a brief warning time. They performed their missions in crisis areas with great professionalism.”
Foreign Secretary Johann Wadephul said: “I sincerely thank our comrades in Bundeswehr, and our representatives have bravely promised today that this will enable more Germans to leave the Middle East.”
