The Luftwaffe has fled dozens of German citizens from Israel during ongoing hostilities with Iran.
The Ministry of Defense and Foreign Affairs said Friday night that two Airbus A400M military aircraft are currently on their way to Germany, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Affairs said Friday night.
Due to armed conflict, the airspace between the two countries is actually closed.
German citizens were departing from Israel as part of the “diplomatic evacuation.”
“These flights are closely coordinated with the Israeli authorities in a short period of time, mainly for families with children and other vulnerable groups.”
The two planes took off from Wunstorf near Hanover on Friday morning and landed in Tel Aviv late afternoon, according to a report by German news magazine Der Spiegel.
Shortly after that, the military aircraft took off again. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense have not provided any information about this information in their statements.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs promoted Jordan’s departure. Another special flight in Jordan is scheduled to take place on Saturday.
Defense Minister Boris Pistorius thanked the soldiers. “We can rely on our German Wehrmacht. Our Air Force personnel are on the scene after a brief warning time. They performed their missions in crisis areas with great professionalism.”
Foreign Secretary Johann Wadephul said: “I sincerely thank our comrades in Bundeswehr, and our representatives have bravely promised today that this will enable more Germans to leave the Middle East.”
