“Maddow” producer Andrew Dallos 17 years later
He announced on X on Thursday morning that veteran “Rachel Maddow Performance” producer Andrew Dallos will leave the show and MSNBC.
He noted that Dallos has worked at MSNBC for nearly 25 years and has been on “Maddow” since the first episode of the program in 2008.
“I am honored to work with some amazing colleagues here. Special thanks to Rachel Maddow for the opportunity to join her team on the first day of the show and provide me with a lifetime journey.”
His exit comes as “Maddow” will air one day a week after the full schedule from Monday to Monday to Friday to match President Trump's first 100 days at the White House.
MSNBC did not immediately respond to TheWrap's request to comment on who (if anyone) would fill the gap left by Dallos.
Dallos has recently appeared in Maddow because it is in a craze recently. The program aired at 9:00 ET and averaged over 2 million viewers during April, making it a top show on MSNBC.
As MSNBC and CNN failed during the first 100 days of President Trump’s tenure, the strong performance of “Maddow” matched the ratings earned in the first few months of the 2017 presidency. On the other hand, TheWrap reported earlier this week that the ratings of TheWrap has improved compared to his first semester.
17 years later, the show by “Maddow” producer Andrew Dallos first appeared on TheWrap.
