Mahindra launches NU_IQ global platform to target premium SUV market

Mahindra & Mahindra has announced its new international automotive platform, NU_IQ, as part of its aggressive global growth strategy. The platform will serve as the basis for a variety of products, including luxury SUVs targeting the international market.
The release volume coincides with the company’s global vision for 2027, with the company focusing on improving its business in the Premium SUV space globally. Mahindra plans to use NU_IQ to strengthen its position and expand its global footprint in the high-value automotive sector.
Over the past three years, the company’s market share in the core SUV sector has risen sharply, from 19% to 23% in fiscal 22222. In the global premium SUV space, Mahindra currently holds a 5% market share, and the new platform is expected to be a key driver of further growth.
