Mahindra & Mahindra's consolidated net profit increased by 19.65% in the March 2025 quarter

Mahindra & Mahindra performed well in the quarterly report in March 2025, with consolidated net profit rising 19.65% to Rs 32,951.7 crore compared with Rs 2,754.08 crore in the same period last year. Sales soared 20.39% to Rs 425,8567 crore, up from Rs 35,3734 crore in fiscal 24 in the fourth quarter.

Mahindra & Mahindra's net profit increased by 14.74% to Rs 129,291 billion during the fiscal year, compared with Rs 11,268.64 crore in fiscal year. Sales in FY25 increased by 14.80% to a total of Rs 1,58,749.75 crore, compared with Rs 1,38,279.3 crore in FY24.

Connect profits; operation performance enhances emotions

Net profit was Rs 24.37 crore, and broadly estimated at Rs 2.45 crore, an increase of 19.6% year-on-year. However, it is the operational performance that is eye-catching. EBITDA soared 39% to Rs 46.83 crore, surpassing Rs 41.58 crore expectations.

EBITDA's profit margin expanded sharply from 13.4% of 24 Q4FY24 to 14.9%, marking a significant expected 13.8% rate.

Automotive and Farms segments grow healthily

In the automotive sector, it grew 18% year-on-year, while revenue market share increased by 310 basis points to 23.5%. Farm equipment grew 23% year-on-year, with M&M's market share in this segment reaching 43.3% – 170 bps in fiscal 25.

Realization and cash generation strong; dividend announcement

The implementation per unit is 5% increased in turn and 11% increased in turn, indicating pricing power and a richer product portfolio. The company generated nearly Rs 1,000 crore in cash during the fiscal year 25.

“Our results include cash creation of nearly Rs 1,000 crore in fiscal 25, allowing us to increase long-term shareholder value through strategic investments,” said Mahindra and Mahindra Group CFO Group Amarjyoti Barua.

The company has announced a dividend of Rs 25.3 per share for fiscal 25 years.

Analysts say the Q4 print enhances M&M’s long-term positioning in the automotive and agricultural sectors. The growth in volume, healthy margin trajectory and strong free cash flow generation make stocks in institutional investors favorable.
