Man arrested for threatening and vomiting on a woman soldier in Jerusalem
The soldiers tried to escape the nearby business, but the suspect chased her and threatened her, saying, “I will kill you tomorrow.”
Israeli police reported Friday that a Jerusalem man was arrested after he reported Friday that a female IDF soldier near Jerusalem’s Central Bus Station was spitting and threatening.
On July 6, police received a report of an attack on soldiers, who were walking near the Central Bus Station. The suspect was a man in his 30s who was concealed on the soldier when he boarded the bus to the military base by the station.
The soldiers tried to escape the nearby business, but the suspect chased her and threatened her, saying, “I will kill you tomorrow.”
According to police, a business employee who tried to intervene and protect the soldiers was also threatened with violence from the suspect.
Officials from the Lev Habira Police Department and Jerusalem Regional Police arrived at the scene where they found and arrested the suspect.

During the interrogation, the suspect was taken to court and his detention was extended due to the severity of the case.
The suspect faces prosecution of a separate incident
The suspect is also facing prosecution for another incident that happened in Jerusalem a few weeks ago.
On June 20, the suspect arrived at the local bar in the evening and asked for alcohol. However, due to previous disputes, he was denied entry. In response, he threw chairs and tables at the staff and yelled.
The suspect then left the bar but returned shortly thereafter, where he sprayed pepper spray on the staff’s face and body. A nearby police officer witnessed the crime and shouted to the suspect to stop. The suspect fled the scene and threw a can at the officer, knocking him on his head.
After a brief police chase, the suspect was arrested and refused to be handcuffed. While being placed in a police car, he insulted the police and cursed them.
The employee suffered minor injuries from pepper spray. The suspect now faces charges, including assaulting civil servants, obstructing justice and using offensive language against police officers.
