2026 Manchester United Cup draw results announced
Eighteen countries are divided into six groups, with three teams in each group

The world’s best tennis players will duke it out in the fourth edition of the Fed Cup, an innovative mixed team competition taking place in Perth and Sydney from Friday 2 to Sunday 11 January 2026.
In today’s official draw, eighteen countries were divided into six groups of three teams each.
Icons of the game Wally Masur and Jelena Dokic were in attendance, while Casey Delacqua and Matt Ebden were in attendance at the Fed Cup draw at RAC Arena in Perth.
Perth
Defending champions USA and the top seeds will be drawn in Group A and will return to Perth in 2026. Led by world No. 3 Coco Gauff and No. 6 Taylor Fritz, the U.S. will go head-to-head with Spain and Argentina in the group stages.
Third-seeded Italy, led by world number eight and 2024 Roland Garros and Wimbledon finalist Jasmine Paolini and rising star Flavio Coboli, will meet France and Switzerland’s Stan Wawrinka and world number 11 Belinda Bencic in Group C.
Team GB, which boasts a new line-up including world number 10 Jack Draper and 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu, will lead Group E alongside Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari and a debutant Japanese team led by four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka and 2019 Wimbledon junior champion Shintaro Mochizuki.
Sydney
World number five Felix Auger-Aliassime and teenage phenom Victoria Mboko top Sydney Group B as the second seeds for the 2026 tournament. They will face Belgium and China.
Group D will be led by Australia, led by world number seven Alex de Minaur, and the country’s new highest-ranked woman, world number 32 Maya Joint. The Czech Republic formed the group with Kasper Ruud’s Norway.
2024 Fed Cup champions Germany, led by world number three Alexander Zverev and debutant Eva Liss, will be drawn in Group F with the Netherlands and world number two Poland’s Iga Swiatek and Hubert Hulkacz.
The 2026 draw will see some of the biggest names in tennis taking part in the Fed Cup this summer, according to Fed Cup tournament director Stephen Farrow.
“We are very proud of this tournament because what it represents and celebrates is that our great sport of tennis is played by so many incredible men and women,” Farrow said.
“Bringing these athletes together not only for high ranking points and prize money but also for their country and national pride is what makes this competition so special.
“It’s an intense and exciting atmosphere with huge crowds coming out to watch. Some of the world’s top players are really getting into it and looking to win on the pitches in Perth and Sydney. We have a lot to look forward to in January.”

“The Federation Cup, back for its fourth year, is a fantastic event that forms part of our economic diversification strategy to attract visitors to our state and inject millions of dollars in valuable tourism dollars, boosting local business and jobs.”
Steve Kemper, NSW Minister for Sport and Minister for Employment and Tourism, added: “As the host city for the game’s biggest competition, the Federation Cup is one of the most anticipated events of Sydney’s sporting summer, providing fans with a rare opportunity to watch the world’s best tennis players compete for their country.
“The exciting atmosphere created by passionate fans from around the world at Ken Rosewall Stadium is a truly unique experience that will once again showcase Sydney as one of the world’s great international sporting stages.”
The match schedule will be released tomorrow (Tuesday 18th November). Tickets for the group stage will go on sale in Perth and Sydney from 12pm local time on Wednesday 19 November. Tickets start at $40 for adults and $20 for children ages 3-12.
