Married, pregnant and considering a comeback – Tennis Now

February is a time of change Camilla George.

In a series of life-changing events, George announced her pregnancy, marriage and said she was considering an eventual return to tournament tennis after giving birth to her first child.

Italian, 34, announces marriage to Argentinian tennis player and coach, 30 Andreas Ignacio Passuti, In an Instagram post, it was titled “From Here to Eternity” and showed an apparent wedding photo of the couple.

Former world number 26 George, who has won four tour-level titles, including the 2021 title in Montreal, and has 430 career match wins, announced her marriage just weeks after she shared news of her pregnancy on Instagram Stories.

George officially retired in May 2024 and faced many controversies after his retirement, including tax evasion, stolen furniture and accusations of faking COVID-19 vaccinations at the end of his career.

Now, she seems very happy to be married and expecting her first child.

George hasn’t ruled out a return to the professional tour after giving birth, posting a “never say never” post on Instagram Stories about returning to tennis.
