Hyundai Motor India tax rate cuts: Hyundai India announced discounts on the country’s product lineup starting from September 22. The move comes about two weeks after last week’s GST committee bumper cuts, PM Narendra Modi promised a “big Diwali gift” to cut prices at several cuts. The GST 2.0 reform reduces the tax rate of CPONTRY cars from 28% to 18%. Since the indirect tax was filed in 2017, the decision was held at the 56th session of the GST Committee.
Hyundai Motor India discount ranges from Rs 60,640 to Rs 2,40,303.

GST 2.0 lowers cars | What happened to the price of cars in India?
The GST Council announced tax changes in multiple industries, with wide-ranging interest rates for automobiles reaching 10 percentage points, reaching 18%.
This is Five major changes In GST 2.0 reform:
- Gasoline and gasoline hybrids, LPG and CNG passenger cars below the 4m 1200cc category, will now attract less than 18% of 1,000 benchmark points
- Diesel and diesel hybrid vehicles below 4 meters will also be taxed 18% instead of 28% in the category below 1500 meters
- Tricycles will be taxed 18% instead of 28%
- Motorcycle tax rate up to 350 cc is 18%, not 28%
- Trucks will also attract 18% tax, instead of 28%
