Metro Manila, nearby province suspends Friday classes in monsoon rainfall

Classes were suspended on Friday due to heavy rains caused by the southwestern monsoon.

Private and public courses at all levels are suspended in several cities in Metro Manila, including Carlokan, Las Pinas, Malabon and Marikina.

The districts of ParañaqueCity, San Juan City, Valenzuela City and Pasay City have suspended courses, while in Pasig City and Pateros, suspensions are only dependent on high school and high school.

Other fields of Luzon have also announced suspensions of classes at all levels including Cainta, Rizal; Tarak’s Baban; Santiago, Isabella; Moron, Badan; and Hermosa, Bataan (high school).

In Bulacan, several districts also suspended courses at various levels, including Baliwag City, Bocaue, Bulakan, Calumpit, Malolos, Norzagaray and Pandi, as well as Santa Maria and Hagonoy (high school).

Meanwhile, in the Arayat area of ​​Panampanga, Sta. Ana, Macabebe, Masantol and Candaba (only attend high school) have suspended classes at all levels at the public and private levels.

Courses have also been suspended in certain areas of Zambales, including Olongapo City, Subic, Castillejos, San Antonio, Cabangan, as well as San Narciso and San Felipe (to high school only).
