Microsoft quietly put down the Smurf laptop. Why?

Do you need a new laptop? Do you really really like the little blue creatures wearing white hats, living in a mushroom house and three tall apples? Well, this is your lucky day.
Microsoft quietly launched the Surface laptop “Smurface Edition”, a custom limited edition variant of its 13-inch PC with laser-etched Smurfs on its lid. This is a new collaboration Smurfs The movie will be released on July 18, random to say the least. (I give them this: The name is of course unique!) Mashable has contacted a Microsoft representative for more details.
Microsoft hasn’t officially announced the Surface Laptop Smurface Edition in a press release or any of its social media pages, but I found it for sale on Amazon on Tuesday, July 29. It is exclusive to retailers, according to some beautiful prints, of which only 100 are available. While writing, I was able to add 87 to the cart, so it already had some recipients.

You can also go to Surface laptop Smurface Edition via the Microsoft Rewards program (sorry, I can’t actually believe they named it), which can eliminate gameplay, make Microsoft Store purchases, and search on Bing. The draw will end on August 14.

Details on the lid distinguish the surface laptop Smurf Edition from the standard 13-inch surface laptop, which debuted in May. It has an octa-core Snapdragon X Plus processor and a 60Hz touch screen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1280. These specs are slightly worse than Microsoft’s flagship 13.8-inch Surface Laptop 7, our favorite Windows laptop, but the smaller version has a slightly longer battery life with a slightly longer 23-hour credit card per day.
The Surface Laptop Smurface Edition comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS storage for $999.99, the same as its non-Smurfy counterpart. smurftastic!
