Musk Chatbot Grok deletes post after complaining about anti-Semitism, complimenting Hitler

Grok, a chatbot developed by Xai, created by Elon Musk, deleted the so-called “inappropriate” social media post Tuesday after X user complaints and anti-defamation leagues (ADL) (ADL) announced content with Antimititic Tropes and praised Adolf Hitler.

With Openai’s Chatppt launched in at least 2022, political bias, hate speech and the accuracy of AI chatbots have been attracting attention.

Grok posted on X: “We know Grok’s recent posts are actively working to remove inappropriate posts.”

“Since realizing the content, Xai has taken action before the Grok post on X.

The nonprofit ADL aims to combat anti-Semitism, urging Grok and other producers of large language model software that produces texts that sound human-sounding to avoid “producing content based on anti-Semitism and extremist hatred.”

ADL said on X: “What we see now from Grok LLM is irresponsible, dangerous, anti-Semitism, simple and simple. The boost to extremist rhetoric will only amplify and encourage anti-Semitism that has surged on X and many other platforms.”

In May, after users noticed that Grok raised the topic of “white genocide” in an unrelated discussion on other issues, XAI attributed it to unauthorized changes to Grok’s response software.

Musk promised an upgrade to Grok last month and stated that “there is too much junk in any underlying model that accepts uncorrected data.”

On Tuesday, Grok suggested Hitler would better fight anti-white hatred, saying he would “discover and deal with the pattern decisively.”

Grok also affirmed Hitler as “the bearded man in history” and commented that people with Jewish surnames were responsible for extreme anti-white activism, as well as other criticized posts.

Grok once admitted that comments made by a fake account with a common Jewish surname made it a “slip”. The false narrative criticized the young Texas flood victim as a “future fascist,” Groke said, and later discovered the account was a “troll scam in the fuel sector.”
