Netflix will try to make Assassin’s Creed happen again

Netflix may be the greatest resilience to claim dominance in the video game adaptation space, and Netflix announced its next adventure would be to create a live-action adaptation of Ubisoft’s giant series Assassin’s Creed.

Netflix announced in a press release that its live assassin’s Creed series will be hosted by Emmy Nominees Roberto Patino and David Wiener, who have worked on such shows respectively Western World,,,,, Anarchic sonand Paramount’s own video game adaptation Halo. While Netflix has not disclosed any plot details about the project, it has confirmed that the series has been in development for nearly five years, and the project was first announced in 2020.

“We have always been Assassin’s Creed Since its release in 2007. We are on this show every day and we are excited and humbled by the possibility Assassin’s Creed “Under scope, wonder, parkour and stimulation, is the benchmark for the most important human story of humanity – about the people who seek purpose, struggling to solve the issues of identity, destiny and belief. It’s about power, violence, gender, greed and revenge.”

They continued: “But most importantly, it’s a show about the value of human connection, cross-cultural, cross-time. It’s about what we want to lose as a species, when those connections break. We have an amazing team behind Ubisoft’s Netflix and our champions, and we are committed to creating some impossible fans for fans around the world.”

According to Ubisoft’s 2007 game, Assassin’s Creed is a historical action adventure game that follows the secret order of assassins, who influence key historical events throughout the process. The series has spawned a total of 14 games since its launch, with its heroes playing a key role in events during the Revolutionary War, Ancient Egypt and Sengoku periods, and its latest work, Assassin’s Creed Shadow.

Just like many Assassin’s Creed Fans will know that this is not the first time I tried to practice adaptation. Back in 2016, the Michael Fassbender-led film of 20th Century Fox tried to bring sci-fi action to the screen, but despite Fassbender’s affinity for the Olympics, it still didn’t attract fans or box office.

Whatever the surface is golden goose Devil’s City,,,,, Cyberpunk: Edgerunnersand Arcanedon’t shy away from trying to adapt to the series challenges than in the past.

As with all the adaptability of live-playing games, time will tell if its executives’ optimistic disposal can shine once Netflix Assassin’s Creed Adaptation makes the screen of the audience that it once defeated.
