A few hours after a gunman opened fire in a high-rise office building in New York City on Monday, it was reported that New York Police Department officials were among the victims of law enforcement agencies across the country.
Immigrants from Bangladesh, 36, Didarul Islam is providing security for office buildings as paid details, a common way for New York Police Department rulers to earn overtime pay.
“This officer just wants to pay a few dollars to pay the bill,” said Joe Imperatrice, co-founder of Blue Lives Matter NYC, told Fox News Digital. “And he ended up being killed by someone who was absolutely destroyed, which is even more pathetic because he didn’t have to be there.”

According to NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, Islam encountered a shooter, Shane Tamura, 27, in the lobby of the office building, who immediately opened fire on the uniformed officer. Islam was killed in the attack along with three other people in the building.
Islam is a four-year veteran in the department, with the father being two children, one-third of the way.
“He made the ultimate sacrifice,” said Tisch. “Shooting in cold blood and wearing a uniform represents his commitment to the city.”
The New York Police Department and the New York City Mayor’s Office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

The incident Imperatrice pointed out could be an incident that occurred after the Islamic death between law enforcement and his immediate family, as officials met with the officer’s relatives to convey the tragic news.
“They send people to the house to pick them up and let them know what’s going on,” Imperatrice said. “They don’t usually just come out and say the worst. They say, ‘Listen, what’s going on,’ they end up taking their families to the hospital.”
Once in the hospital, the family may meet with senior New York City officials, mental health consultants and clergy and receive news that their loved ones were killed.

“This is the hardest thing for these families,” Imperatrice told Fox News Digital. “They didn’t think for a second that their son, husband or father wouldn’t go home when they walked through these doors. They thought it was a normal day.”
The reality faced by countless law enforcement families across the country is that they can keep living in unthinkable situations, which leads to a very public sad process.
“When a tragedy occurs, their grief is exacerbated by the public nature of the loss,” said Jonathan Alpert, a New York City-based psychotherapist and author of Therapeutic Nation, told Fox News Digital. “They mourn privately, while also feeling the weight of their role as a civil servant. This can bring pride and comfort, but it can also create the pressure to stay strong and posed when it can be shocked internally.”

Losing such ignorant violence, Tishi was declared in response to the crisis.
“She lost a policeman,” Imperatrice said. “You know, as the head of the world’s largest police department, you’re going to be rattled.”
Alpert appreciated this, who cited the department’s shield against the Islamic family after the shooting.
“To the best of our knowledge, Titch and the NYPD Commissioner acted quickly to provide support, protect the privacy of the family and respect the officer’s sacrifice,” Alpert said. “It was important to block the family in the first few hours. It allowed them to start dealing with grief without being immediately exposed to the eyes, which sent a clear message that they are not alone.”

To show strength, Tic stood with New York City Mayor Eric Adams and PBA President Patrick Hendry to express condolences to the Islamic family.
“He’s dead,” Tisch said. “Hero.”
Following the Islamic murder, Imperatrice insisted that the death of a fellow countryman reopened old wounds for law enforcement officers everywhere, especially after New York Police Department official Jonathan Diller was shot and killed for a year in his duty.
“You pray to God, every star that we pray to us that we will never answer the phone,” Imperatrice said. “But once again, the blue sea will come out from all over the country. It will send lightning through everyone’s spine [they will] Realize how precious life is, but how much evil life can become. ”

Islam is one of four victims killed by a pistol shot, and authorities identified security officer Aland Etienne, Blackstone Execution Wesley Lepatner and unnamed Rudin employees among the deceased.
However, Imperatrice emphasized that Islam will be commemorated as a hero by the New York Police Department, and his loved ones will always be supported by the department.
“[Islam’s] “The name will be placed on many different walls, so he is basically immortal. But there are only over 30,000 of the family will become officers of their new family – brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles – they will be in Beck and the first few days of the weeks, until the final time.”
