The newlyweds’ lives collapsed when her husband and 1-year-old daughter were killed in a fiery car accident when she returned from her honeymoon.
“Messi, Hunter and Oakley were on their way home from Pigeon Forge’s honeymoon in a horrible car accident yesterday, Macy’s mother, Leigh Ann Payne-Weisser, wrote in a Facebook post.
She added that her daughter was taken to the burn department at University Hospital of Louisville and was treated for the injury.
She wrote: “The Hunter and Oakley are now with our Lord and Savior. Please let Messi and our family pray.”

According to the Kentucky Police Department, the crash occurred on July 26, when Ford F-150 headed south on Breckinridge County, which was heading south on Route 261 in Kentucky, crossed the centerline for unknown reasons and collided with the Chevrolet Silverado. The impact caused two cars to explode.
Hunter Lyons, 22, and a 1-year-old child passenger were pronounced dead at the scene by the Breckenridge County Coroner’s Office, police said.

According to their online wedding page, the tragedy happened seven days after the couple’s wedding.
The report describes Hunter as an active member of the Constantine Missionary Baptist Church, who often sing and play guitar during their service. He loves outdoor activities, hunting, horse riding, tractors and his 4 wheels.

The couple’s 1-year-old daughter is remembered as “like sunshine” and reflects her “angry personality”.

Police said Joseph Maynard, 48, of the driver of the F-150, also died at the scene.
