NFL News: Titans’ Levis is out in the 2025 season

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis decided to go through the entire 2025 season as he decided to undergo shoulder surgery, which will keep him in the situation for the rest of the year.
The Titans made the announcement on Monday, starting training camp in just a few days.

“After consulting with the doctor and his representatives, Will Levis decided to undergo shoulder surgery, which would compare his deputy throughout the 2025 season,” the group said. “We support his decision to focus on his long-term health.
“He approached the offseason with professionalism and showed significant growth as a leader. We still have confidence in his full recovery.”
ESPN reported that Levis suffered a right shoulder injury early last year and was stabbed again in the 2024 season. He reportedly couldn’t get rid of the discomfort he had been dealing with.

The Titans chose Levis in the second round of the 2023 NFL draft as Malik Willis failed to meet expectations and quarterback Ryan Tannehill is out.
He participated in 21 games between 2023 and 2024. He had 3,899 yards of passes and 21 touchdown passes, but the Titans started 5-16.
Tennessee won the first pick in the 2025 draft and chose quarterback Cam Ward.

It might be the quarterback game to enter the camp, but Ward now appears to be the leader in Week 1 nodding. Brandon Allen and Tim Boyle are currently the other quarterbacks on the roster.
