Martin's Adam is more nervous than his romantic rivals, but even he relaxes Jane's charm – the scene in his pot with his new girlfriend is also one of the highlights of the film.

The film’s support cast consists mainly of Grace and Jake’s adult children and Grace’s female friends group. In the latter, Rita Wilson,,,,, Mary Kay Plaza and Alexandra Wentworth As three friends, they make the most of their limited screen time, they provide Jane with supportive shoulders and witty observations.
