However, among all the weirdness, a conversation between Rick and Morty caught our attention and IO9 asked Showrunner-Exectecont-Exectecots Scott Marder and executive producer Dan Harmon.
It happened with evidence that Rick and Morty portals to Germany’s portal (Dermany) showed that Easter Bunny had recently emerged from frozen resting places. Rick compared the scene to Timothy Hutton in 1984 Icemanreference Morty didn’t get: “80s, Rick!”

“I looked at a lot of things, just that he was Rick’s row and let Rick just be about him,” Marder explained. “I think he’s heard of a lot of movies and realized a lot of things because it might just be Rick’s just trying to go while he’s traveling. That’s how I think he’s capturing a lot of pop culture.”
Harmon’s subsequent examples jump around. “I like its responsibility. One of my favorite moments is that because it goes through a writer’s cycle, I think I’ve written something on the page [in the season six premiere, ‘Solaricks’] Rick said he didn’t know who Iron Man was. ” he recalled.
“And I just wrote this. I didn’t follow up. I think it’s [show writer] albro [Lundy] Who made the pass and added Morty’s line, “Hey, remember 10 seconds ago when you pretended not to know who Iron Man was? What was that? It didn’t really answer that question, but I think sometimes things could be habitual, accidental, and there should be a piece of light. Who knows what reference? What does that say to them?”
