Nine children of Gaza doctors report killed in Israeli attack
A doctor at the Gaza hospital lost nine children in an Israeli attack, and dozens of Palestinians were reportedly killed.
The doctor's husband and a surviving child were also seriously injured in the attack in the southern city of Khan Yunis, according to authorities operating in Hamas.
The doctor reportedly worked at Nasser Hospital during the air strike.
The BBC Broadcasting Corporation said the hospital also confirmed the incident.
A British doctor who works in a hospital said he was a surviving child, an 11-year-old boy, and expressed shock at the incident in a video on Instagram.
He said her husband was also a doctor at the hospital, adding that it was not clear whether he would survive.
An Israeli military spokesman said the reports would be investigated. He said several suspects near the Israeli ground forces in Khan Younis carried out a drone attack.
According to Gaza's health authorities, 79 Palestinians were killed in the Israeli attacks only in the case of an attack on the Israeli attacks.
Dozens of people have died every day since the start of the new military offensive in Gaza, including ground forces.
Israel’s actions on sealing territory are drawing international criticism, even for its close allies.
According to Hamas-run Health Ministry, the war in Gaza has stolen the lives of more than 53,000 Palestinians.
Israeli settlers attack West Bank villages
Also on Saturday, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that Israeli settlers attacked two Bedouin villages in the West Bank.
The aid group said an attack targeted a settlement east of Ramallah that was abandoned by some of the 25 families living there due to previous attacks.
China said the remaining five residents were injured in the attack.
In addition, seven people were injured in a second incident in a village east of Bethlehem.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that settlers tried to set fire to the house.
They also killed goats and sheep from some villagers, which were crucial to their livelihoods.
The Israeli military initially did not comment on the report.
The situation in the occupied West Bank has worsened since October 7, 2023, with attacks on the Palestinian militant group Hamas and subsequent wars in Gaza.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, more than 920 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli military operations, armed conflicts and attacks by extremists.
Violence against Palestinian civilians by radical Israeli settlers has also increased.
'hostageScreaming' Calls cause Israeli alert
Meanwhile, according to media reports, many people in Israel have received calls over the past day, and during the past day, people can hear screams of hostages believed to be held in Gaza.
News website YNET reported that in addition to screams, explosions and sirens were also heard. These calls are made of unknowns.
The Israel Hostages and Missing Family Forum said it was aware of the phone and that the recorded recording was taken from a recently released Hamas hostage video by the Palestinian Group.
The forum emphasized in a statement that these calls are not representative of calls.
Some calls also included voices calling for a swift hostage deal, the Israeli Haaretz newspaper said.
According to Israeli sources, 20 hostages remain alive in the Gaza Strip. It is not clear whether the other three hostages are still alive.
In addition, the remains of 35 dead kidnappers are still there. Negotiations on Hamas' release of hostages have stalled.
According to a report from N12 TV Channel, the Israeli Cyberspace Administration has investigated the phone.
N12 quoted the authorities' statement: “The Cyber Bureau stressed that these attempts to cause panic among people.”
