Nintendo found its live link and Zelda

In a surprise announcement this morning, Nintendo confirmed its live-action star The Legend of Zelda Movie.
In a statement first revealed in Nintendo Today App, which previously provided us with the original release date for the film, the publisher confirmed that relatively famous people, Bo Bragason and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, will play Princess Zelda and Link, respectively.

“This is Miyamoto. I’m happy to announce The Legend of ZeldaBo Bragason-san will be played by Bo Bragason-san, and the link to Benjamin Evan Ainsworth-san will be told by the news: “I’m very much looking forward to seeing both of them on the big screen.”
“This movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 7, 2027,” the statement concluded. “Thank you for your patience.”
Both stars are relatively young (Bragason was 21 years old when casting, Ainsworth was only 17 years old), and their names are rare, which is a stark contrast to the glorious, star-studded casting of Nintendo and Illumination Mario A few years before the movie.
