On the same day that the UK-based Tech Startup made its debut, nothing was showing off its first pair of headphones. No headphones (1) brings other similar idol design languages from Nothing’s other products to the realm of ear cans. They have large, blocky, rectangular frames around the ear cups, as well as many physical buttons and pairs of controls on the earphones themselves, which can be used for every feature you imagine.
Like the phone (3), no headphones (1) were launched on July 15, and the price was quite large.

These headphones use 40mm drivers and support for spatial audio, and support nothing is called “adaptive active noise reduction”. The hardware was made in collaboration with KEF, and this is the first one. One thing that might appeal to the headsets to some users is the physical control advantage on the unit itself. There is a dedicated voice assistant button that can be customized to perform other actions, and there is a roller button that can control volume, playback and ANC modes yourself, depending on your operation. Another roller button is used to skip tracks or answer calls, and as a boon to someone like me, there is a dedicated on/off switch.
As often as headphones, it’s hard to tell how comfortable they are or how good they sound from marketing materials alone. But if you have been incorporated into an ecosystem-free one, it seems like a complete enough continuation of this philosophy.
