NYKAA Block Deal: 2.3% equity or 60 million shares change hands in pre-opening transactions; stocks fall nearly 5%

Among the 2.3% equity or 60 million equity shares, the beauty and personal care (BPC) participant – Nykaa’s share price fell nearly 5% to Rs 201.7 for Rs 201.7. Early investors in new era entities, the Banga family may deduct 2.1% of their shares, according to reports.

The floor price for the deal is Rs 200 per share, 5.5% off the previous one.

As of now, the Banga family owns 5% of the company.

For block transactions, a separate window is expanded through the exchange that executes block transactions, i.e. a minimum volume of 5,000 shares or a minimum value of 5 crore rupees, whichever is lower.

NYKAA’s Q4FY25 results

The company’s consolidated revenue and net profit increased by 23.6%, year-on-year to the 4th quarter (YOY). Profit before tax (PBT) was Rs 3.955 crore in Q4, up 102.2% year-on-year while down 11.24%.

EBITDA was 1.33 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal 4, with a growth rate of 43%, compared with 93 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal 4. EBITDA’s margin rose 88 basis points to 6.5% in the 4th quarter fiscal 25, compared with 5.6% in the 4th quarter fiscal 45.

Total commodity value (GMV) rose 27% in the 4th quarter of FY4 to Rs 410.2 crore, compared with Rs 4217 crore in the 4th quarter of Q4.

In the fourth quarter of FY4, revenue in the beauty sector increased by 25% to Rs 1895 crore, compared with Rs 151.9 crore in Q4 of FY4, revenue of Rs 151.9 crore in Q4 and revenue of Rs 405.8 crore in GMV, and high prices increased by 31% in Q4 of FY4.

In the fourth quarter, revenue in the fashion sector was Rs 161 crore, up 11 per cent, compared with Rs 145 crore released in the same period last year. GMV jumps 18% to Rs 1,037 crore in Q4 FY25
