Oceaneering wins $90 million ExxonMobil Angola contract

Oceaneering International announced that its two subsidiaries, Angola and Oceaneering Marine Technologies, have obtained important contracts from Esso Angola, an ExxonMobil subsidiary.
The deal follows a competitive bidding process and is designed to support offshore operations in Angola’s 15th District.
The three-year contract started this month and is expected to generate between $80 million and $90 million in revenue.
The transaction covers the provision of multiple work-level remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), intervention engineering control systems (IWOCs), ROV tools and satellite communication systems.
It also includes hydration restoration, subsea inspection and engineering services.

Oceaneering is known for bringing engineering services and products as well as robotics solutions as well as offshore energy, aerospace, defense and manufacturing industries.
In the first quarter of 2025, Oceaneering International reported revenue growth of 13% year-on-year to a total of $675 million.
The company also reported that adjusted EBITDA grew 57% to $96.7 million, although there was no adjustment for the $10.4 million inventory reserve in the manufacturing product sector.
To expand its service capabilities, Oceaneing International’s Offshore Projects Group (OPG) signed a ship service agreement with major operators in June.
The agreement involves multi-purpose support vessels Harvey Deep SeaThis will be used for subsea services in the Gulf of Mexico.
