That’s why the Washington, D.C. champion is defending the USTA in order to enter this month’s open doubles for him and Boulter.
“Yes, 100%. I mean, look, I think we’ll try to come up with a really good case, hoping to get this wildcard,” De Minaur made his seventh straight win against Frances Tiafoe in the media in Toronto today. “Yes, I mean, one of the most enjoyable moments I’ve ever had on the tennis court was playing Wimbledon mixed doubles with her.”
USTA has released its current team roster for the new U.S. Open Tag Team Championship, which will be staged for the first time during Fan Week before the singles main drawing game begins.

There are two open positions left, and De Minaur hopes he and Boulter will get a wildcard to fill one of them.
“It’s so cool [to play with Boulter]so I would love to go back, yes, play again,” Demeer said today. “And it’s so cool to be in such an exciting game with the best tennis players in the world. So hopefully they give us a chance to do this, I don’t know, I mean, yes, my fingers crossed. ”
