Baguio City – The state-run Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Authority (Pagasa), issued Thursday morning, issued a storm surge warning to the coastal areas of Cagayan and Isabella provinces as a method of typhoon crisis.
Pagasa urged residents to take precautions and warn of a storm surge of one to two meters.
The affected areas in Cagayan include Abulug, Aparri, Baggao, Ballesteros, Buguey, Calayan, Claveria, Claveria, Gattaran, Gattaran, Gonzaga, Lal-Lo, Pamplona, Peñablanca, Sanchez-Mira, Sanchez-Mira, Sta. Anna and Sta. Tracita. In Isabela, Dinapigue, Divilacan, Maconacon and Palanan.
Pagasa urges the public to avoid the shoreline and cancel all maritime activities due to potential dangers. The agency also recommends ongoing monitoring of consultations that may expand warnings. – Artemio A. Dumlao
