Paolini defeated Gauff for the third time in a row to arrive at Cincy Semis – Tennis Now

Jasmine Paolini owns the number of Coco Gauffs in 2025.
The Italian wandered in a tough three-game match and ended up defeating two-time Grand Slam champions for the third time Friday night to reach the semi-finals with a 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 Cincinnati Open.
“It’s so hard,” Paul Lini said. “I stayed there, I tried to fight, and that worked.”
Paulini turned around early in the third set and had to see the coach, and she didn’t seem to be bothered as she quit in two hours and three minutes to win a mistake.
Paulini also won Gauff in Stuttgart and Rome this year, making his first final four games in Cincinnati.
She hit seven winners out of 44 unmandatory mistakes, while Gauff hit 22 winners and 62 unmandible mistakes.
Both players received seven serves, but Paul Lini finished the last place, while Gauff won the game 3-4 in the decision game. She then switched to the third match point to secure the victory.
The Italian will face Veronika Kudermetova in the semifinals. Iga Swiatek will beat Elina Rybakina in the first half semifinals. Both will be broadcast on Sunday.
