PM Modi will visit Gujarat on September 20; property cornerstone and project worth Rs 34.2 crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on September 20 to attend the “Samudra se Samriddhi” event and unveiled several developments held in Bhavnagar around 10:30 am in Bhavnagar and laid the foundation for multiple developments held in Bhavnagar with a speech

After that, the Prime Minister will conduct an air investigation into Dholera. At about 1:30 pm, he will preside over the review meeting and visit the Losar National Maritime Heritage Complex.

To promote a significant push in the maritime sector, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation for several development projects related to the maritime sector worth more than Rs 7.887 crore.

He will open the Mumbai International Cruise Terminal in Indira Dock. He will lay the foundations of new container terminals and related facilities at Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port in Kolkata; new container berths, cargo handling facilities and related developments at Paladeep Port; and Tuna Tekra multi-truck terminals.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation for fire protection facilities and modern road connectivity at Ennore and Kamarajar Port of the coastal conservation plant, including the sea walls and site at Chennai port.

In addition, sea wall buildings on Nicobar Island, multi-purpose cargo berths and green bioethanol plants at the Deendayal port of Kandla and ship repair facilities in Patna and Varanasi will also be placed.

In line with his commitment to overall and sustainable development, the Prime Minister will open the ceremony and base it on multiple projects of the central and state governments, worth over Rs 26.3354 crore to accommodate various departments in Gujarat.

He will inaugurate the HPLNG Regasification Terminal at Chhara Port, the Acrylics and Oxo Alcohol Project at the Gujarat IOCL Refinery, the 600 MW Green Shoe Initiative, the PM-KUSUM 475 MW Component C solar feeder for farmers, the 45 MW Badeli Solar PV Project, and the complete solarisation of Dhordo village, among others.

He will also lay foundation stones for liquefied natural gas infrastructure, other renewable energy projects, coastal conservation projects, highways and health care and urban transport projects, including the expansion of TT General Hospital at Guru Govind Sinh Government Hospital in Jamnagar, and four ranges of 70 km of highways nationwide.

In addition, the Prime Minister will conduct an air survey of the Dholera Special Investment Zone (DSIR), which is envisioned as a greenfield industrial city built around sustainable industrialization, smart infrastructure and global investment.

He will also visit and review the progress of the Losar National Maritime Heritage Complex (NHMC), developed at a cost of approximately Rs 45 billion to celebrate and maintain the ancient maritime traditions of India and serve as a centre for tourism, research, education and skills development.
