The actress and singer received a temporary protection order against DDG on Tuesday, May 13 after accusing the rapper of physical and verbal abuse. As a result, Bailey was granted temporary sole physical and legal custody of his children Page 6.
Bailey filed a restraining order without notifying her ex, fearing more violence and he would take the order away before it was served, according to documents obtained by the media.

In legal documents filed on Tuesday, May 13, and obtained US Weekly The next day, Bailey, 25, claimed DDG (real name) Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) “I have been abused physically, verbally, emotionally and financially in the past.”
The actress and 27-year-old DDG shared her 16-month-old son Halo, and Bailey also applied to pass a required court order “protected.”

Bailey's manifesto details the events of January 18, allegedly involving DDG's refusal to tell Bailey when the couple's son would return from an outing with his father. “I'm very nervous and excited about him matching him with a halo,” Bailey claimed. “I left the baby with him in his state uneasily. I also wondered when he would bring the halo back. He won't tell me.”
Bailey claims the incident escalated into physical violence. “We fight each other and fall [sic] and noisy. Once, Daryl pulled my hair. He then slammed my face against the steering wheel, causing my teeth to shatter. Bailey wrote in the statement.
Bailey also details the second incident, which it allegedly took place on March 3. She claimed it involved DDG entering Bailey's home without permission. Four days later, Bailey claimed DDG fell into her home again. “He was angry with me,” Bailey wrote. “He raised his voice, verbally insulted me, and threw a bad name at me. Then, he saw the ring camera being recorded; he pulled out the ring camera, opened the side door, and threw the ring camera out of my home. I walked outside and retrieved the ring camera. Then, he locked me in my home.”
The documents also include Bailey's request to DDG to stop publishing online materials about her and the couple's children. “He is YouTube and Twitch Blogger and creates a fanatical craze by making false claims against me,” Bailey said. “It scares me and is victimized. His fans then threaten me. I often fear the safety of my life and the aura.”
Further evidence in the filing included police reports and Bailey's claims, who had tried to organize a care schedule for her children that had not been resolved by DDG.
On March 7, DDG sent to X, accusing Bailey of not wanting to see Halo. “[B]TMZ reported that he wrote in a post since: “Trying to see my son for a few months…. This S*** is suck.”
Shortly after deleting the post, DDG talked about the situation through live streaming based on TMZ. “I really feel like I'm at this time,” he reportedly said at the time. “The nanny has been able to have more sons than I do. I don't even know the nanny's name. Like, it's unfair brother. So I have to come here, I have to do that.”
