President Joe Biden aides worry that president will need a wheelchair if re-elected, new book reveals

Aides to former President Joe Biden privately discussed the possibility that the president would need to use a wheelchair when he was re-elected in the 2024 race as his physical deterioration spiraled in 2023 and 2024, a new book said.

“Biden’s physical deterioration – most obviously in his stop walking – has become so serious that internal discussions put the president in a wheelchair, but they can’t do it until after the election.

CNN's Jake Tapper and Axios journalist Alex Thompson, who will be released Tuesday, are just the latest in a series of recent political books detailing the unprecedented 2024 presidential election, with Biden's executing appeals being arranged as a visit due to his keen and age concerns about his mental keenness and age.

“Given Biden's age,” the author wrote, “[his physician Kevin O'Connor]also privately said that if he falls again, a wheelchair may be necessary for a difficult recovery.”

Concerns about his mental acuity began to fever in June 2024, when Biden participated in the debate phase to confront then-public presidential candidate Donald Trump. Biden's debate performance was seen as a failure, and traditional allies quickly joined the conservatives, who were concerned about the president's health while encouraging Biden to pass on the mantle to a younger generation of American leaders.

Biden withdrew at the end of July 2024, giving his nominee successor, with former Vice President Kamala Harris coming to join in support for just over 100 days. Trump and Vice President JD Vance won the election after locking in support from the top seven battlefield states.

Former Pine aide said the former president was “fatigue, confused and disengaged” before the June debate:

Asked about claims in the upcoming book, a Biden spokesman told Axios: “Yes, physical changes have changed as you age, but the evidence of aging is not evidence of mental incompetence.”

The spokesman defended the “stiff gait” Biden saw when he took office, partly because of his spinal wear, but without the necessary treatment and no deterioration. ”

The unidentified spokesman told Fox Numbers: “We are still waiting for someone, anyone, to point out where Joe Biden has to make a presidential decision or make a presidential address because he is unable to do his job due to his mental decline. In fact, the evidence shows the opposite – he is a very effective president.”
