R2-D2 secretly tries to kill Boba Fett to return to Jedi

To this day, one of the biggest problems for Star Wars fans is how Boba Fett is defeated Return of the Jedi. What happened to the most famous bounty hunter in the galaxy, who was defeated by a blind man with his jetpack?

However, there is a fan’s theory that neatly explains his humiliating failure while making us prefer another fan favorite. According to this theory, R2-D2 spiked Boba Fett’s drink on Jabba’s sail barge, ensuring he could be easily defeated by the rebels.

Boba Fett Attention R2

First, the only reason R2-D2 and Boba Fett are close to each other is that Luke Skywalker sends his robot to Jabba as a gift. This is all part of the Jedi plan, as R2 secretly possesses Luke’s lightsaber and is able to shoot it out before the master’s execution, allowing Luke to do his best: rescue the princess and save the day. But this theory believes other Part of the plan is R2-D2 (forced to act as a robot) to stimulate Boba Fett’s drinks so he can feel weak and drowsy about the big showdown.

Although the theory is very interesting, we will be the first to acknowledge evidence. All we know is that R2-D2 is drinking on Sail Barge in Jabba, and the famous bounty, Boba Fett, was taken away soon after. However, many fanatics embraced this theory because it provides an explanation for why the bounty hunter is hyped Year Ultimately, it is more effective for our hero than the average commando.

One of the holes in this theory is that R2-D2 shouldn’t easily stimulate Boba Fett’s drink. Why does Jabba or his security forces allow lower robots to access the space roof that can be used? So there is a related theory that the robot is simply over-the-top Boba Fett alcohol before the execution scheduled by Luke Skywalker. Proponents of this theory argue that Fett would likely drink too much because the rebels were already captured and detained by the galaxy’s most terrifying criminal owner, minimizing the risk of drinking at work.

I like these two theories about R2-D2 and Boba Fett, not only because they explain why it’s easy to send this bounty hunter. These theories also portray R2 as a cunning warrior who is too happy to kill the legendary bounty hunter. It also makes the rebels look smarter, which is good because the original plan (which involves intentionally handing over the last Jedi to the lord who might execute him) is downright crazy.

R2-D2 is ready to pop up Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber

Apart from a comic or book confirmation, the idea that R2-D2 is trying to kill Boba Fett is nothing more than a fascinating fan theory. But it’s the perfect excuse to give us a re-watch while all of us respect the bounty hunter more Return of the Jedi. I will definitely learn from Fett’s mistakes and avoid surpassing friends at our next Star Wars party, lest they end up spending a thousand years in our own Sarlacc Pit (aka guest bathroom) in our home.
