Razzamataz Theater School launches £25,000 ‘Future Founders’ franchise for aspiring entrepreneurs

The Razzamataz Theater School has launched a new program to mark its 25th anniversary, providing two aspiring entrepreneurs with the opportunity to run their own performing arts franchise and receiving awards worth up to £25,000.
The “Future Founders” contest will offer two winners the Razzamataz Theater School franchise in the UK or UAE, worth up to £15,000 and offer a £10,000 startup grant to start their business.
It aims to eliminate many of the financial barriers a business faces when doing business, is open to individuals aged 18 and older, is passionate about the performing arts and a desire to change their communities. No previous business experience is required.
“We are looking for people with purpose, passion and potential,” said Denise Gosney, founder and managing director of Razzamataz. “It’s not just corporate ownership – it’s about creating a legacy that empowers young people and brings lasting value to the local community.”
Denise, who received investment from Duncan Bannatyne of the BBC Dragon’s Study Roomlaunched Razzamataz in 2000. Since then, the brand has grown into one of the most well-known names in children’s performing arts education in the UK, with franchisees nationwide and internationally.
The new program will give two drivers the opportunity to join the Razzamataz network and gain 25 years of experience, comprehensive training and expert guidance. Participants will also push their ideas to a panel of judges, including Denise herself, singer-songwriter Ben Ofoedu, Cheryl White (CEO of Apollo Care) and franchise coach and strategist Hayley Limpkin.
“It’s a rare opportunity for someone with big dreams but limited means,” said Cheryl White. “It’s a chance to take the most important first step and get into entrepreneurship with the support of a trusted, supported brand.”
Razzamataz’s franchise model has long supported individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including performers, teachers, parents and career changers, providing comprehensive training in areas such as marketing, operations, course design and recruitment. The brand’s most successful franchisee has no business experience at all.
Applications from future founders are now open and can be submitted through the Razzamataz website. Successful applicants will not only receive financial support, but also receive a complete toolkit to open and develop a thriving theater school on the chosen territory.
“Our mission has always been to unlock potential,” Dennis added. “The founders of the future will provide winners with life-changing opportunities to inspire the next generation and build businesses that fit their lifestyle and values.”
Applications are now open:
The franchise territory is limited and competition is expected to be fierce. The entry will be closed later this year.
