Beasley’s attorney quickly settled the charges and asserted that the guard had not been charged with the crime.

Beasley was arrested in 2020 on felony weapons charges. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 120 days in prison for three years of probation. Professional athletes served their sentences after the 2020-2021 NBA season and were later suspended for 12 games in the league.
