24-time Major Champion Novak Djokovic withdraws from next week’s Cincinnati Open.
The three-time champion also quit last year’s match, last in 2023 when he beat Carlos Alcaraz in an epic final, one of the best in tournament history.
There is no reason to be withdrawn by him, but he believes it has nothing to do with serious injuries and is expected to gain a spot in the U.S. open men’s singles draw that begins on August 24.
The 38-year-old is ranked sixth and will bid for his 25th major title in New York. He lives in professional 392-54 years, 26-9 this season.
