“As a small and historic venue, our capacity is limited,” the hall said in a social media post.

Federer, the first man to win 20 Grand Slam titles, will appear in Newport on August 29 with broadcaster Mary Carillo. In addition to the 900 tickets initially available for the induction ceremony, the Hall will open its 3,600-seat arena for watch parties.

The Tennis Hall of Fame recently completed a $3 million renovation of its museum (reopening in May 2025) in preparation for its upcoming induction ceremony to honor Federer and other tennis greats such as Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Serena Williams and Venus Williams.

Fans are invited to join a waiting list for tickets, with the “Ultimate Experience Package” priced at $18,000, which covers three days of events, including a doubles match on August 28th in which Federer himself will participate.
