Russian drone and missile strikes killed at least three times in Ukraine in the latest attack

Ukrainian officials said the huge Russian drone and missile attacks in the eastern city of Kharkiv on Saturday killed at least three people and injured 21 people, the latest almost daily widespread attack.

Barrage includes the air-sliding bombs that have become part of the fierce Russian attacks in the Three Years’ War.

The intensity of the Russian attacks and the recent surprise drone attacks in Kiev on Russian internal military airports seem shocking in recent weeks, hoping that the warring party will soon reach a peace agreement.

Ukrainian cities have been bombed since invading their neighbors in February 2022. According to the United Nations, the attack has killed more than 12,000 civilians.

On Saturday, the Ukrainian Air Force said Russia hit the air defenses overnight with 215 missiles and drones, shooting down and neutralizing 87 drones and 7 missiles.

Rebuilding the Face of Ukrainian War

Twice a year, a volunteer team of medical staff traveled to western Ukraine to treat soldiers and civilians who suffered severe facial injuries during the war. Raphaël Bouvier-Auclair of Canadian Radio visited clinics organized by Canada to learn about life-changing transformations.

Kharkif’s regional governor Oleh Syniehubov said two areas of the city were hit by three missiles, five aerial scooter bombs and 48 drones. He added that among the injured were a baby boy and a 14-year-old girl.

Two women, aged 45 and 88, were injured in the southern Dnipropetrovsk province, according to local governor Serhii Lysak.

Local Governor Oleksandr Prokudin reported in a Facebook article that Russian shelling also killed a couple in his 50s in the southern city of Hosen.

U.S. President Donald Trump said this week that Russian President Vladimir Putin told him Moscow responded to Ukraine’s attack on Russian military airport last Sunday.

Trump also said it would be better to let Ukraine and Russia “fight for a while” and then pull them apart and pursue peace.

His comments seem to be a call he often says to stop the war and say he may abandon his recent peace efforts.
