Jack Draper withdraws from UTS finals – Tennis Now

Jack Draper Has not played since the U.S. Open. The England star was due to test his injured left arm at the University of Technology Sydney this weekend, but has announced he will not be ready for this year’s eight-man tournament in London.
“Hi everyone. I’ve been working towards getting back to UTS in London but frustratingly I’m not quite ready yet. It’s been a tough decision as at this point all I want to do is go out and compete but I’ve been advised to take more time. I’m sorry to let the fans down and miss this event,” Draper said.
Draper will be replaced in Group B by last year’s London semi-finalist Ugo Humbert.

All eight players competing at the Copper Box Arena, including Humbert, are ranked in the top 20 in the world. The Frenchman has a career-high ranking of No. 13 and has seven career ATP titles.
Humbert will face stiff competition from De Minaur, Andrei Rublev, Tomas Mahak, Casper Rudd, Francisco Cerundolo, David Goffin and Adrian Mannarino. In total, they have won 53 ATP Tour titles and 8 UTS Tour titles.
The unique UTS All-Star Game officially kicks off at 5pm on Friday before all eight players take the field for a night filled with entertainment and world-class sport.
Draper had a breakout year in 2025, finishing in the top 5 for the first time and winning his first Masters title at Indian Wells, but injuries plagued him and shortened his season. He withdrew from the second match of the U.S. Open and did not play again.

His injuries — bone stress and humeral bruises — originally started in the spring but didn’t get better after resting over the summer.
