Ilona Maher Talks about Alan Bersten’s Tough Teaching in DWTS Season 33

Bersten, 30, told Maher on the “Maher House of Maher” podcast Tuesday, April 15 that he told Maher, 28, that he said: “I'm glad you're my partner.”
Maher recalled that she was also “excited” to work with Bersten, but she was worried about her skills and teaching skills.

Despite making a tough start in the practice room, Bersten claimed he “hopefully” Maher will be his season 33 partner.
“I've seen her at the Olympics. She has a big impact. She's funny,” he said excitedly. “If I were to spend five hours a day with someone, I wanted to be happy. You didn't want to be in pain.” (Maher was part of the US team's bronze medal-winning rugby team at the Paris Olympics in the summer of 2024.)
