Andor and DCU are 100% correct in recasting actors

Ando Season 2 seems to have a terrible problem to solve: Jimmy Smits can’t portray Princess Lea’s important adoption father’s bail (Bail Organa). Given that Disney has become a deep ocean of outbreaks, we’ll see some AI nightmares instead of Jimmy Smits. instead, Ando Respect the wisdom of the audience by simply doing the character conflict we had previously expected: It bailed Organa with Benjamin Bratt.

And there is no rationality at all, and the adjusted adults are paying attention. While it was nice to see Jimmy Smits’ role, Benjamin Bratt did the work of the professional and performed the show. Ando Season 2 received widespread praise and it seems that the character has done no damage to its success.

That’s why hearing James Gunn takes the same approach as DCU: If there are no more actors for any reason, reshape the characters.

Health disaster

MCU Death

Obviously, a big reason for replaying the role has become a major deal in the main franchise, due to what happened to Major Jonathan and the consequences of his role as Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I won’t spend my precious time narrating or giving up all the unfortunate events, but it’s enough to say that the Grand Slam is the focus of the next big narrative reset in the MCU. Heck, the first of the two announced Avengers movies is even called Avengers: Kang Dynasty. With the professional being ousted, Marvel Machine had to recalibrate the massive scale to swap Kang for Doom Doctor, played by returning Robert Downey Jr., one of the largest PR actors ever in film history.

Behind the scenes is Scuttlebutt, because Marvel cannot recast Kang due to certain provisions in the professional contract. This is the so-called reason why miracles cannot insert new actors. I bet that such regulations will not be subject to the advancement of the studio. James Gunn makes such a clear statement about the recast actor, it appears that the DCU has set up protective measures to get rid of something as disastrous as Major Jonathan/Kon scene.

Adults don’t care

Now, while the recast can certainly change the quality of the performance, it doesn’t matter as long as the new actor is a professional with Benjamin Bratt Ando. Frankly, unless you are a SIMP for a specific actor, you should be able to handle the changes and adapt to it as an adult. You highly welcome effective criticism of recasting, but being angry at recasting itself is not an effective criticism of the new actor.

I despise the deep hit and tend to see the actor’s image as a toy. I don’t want to see a bunch of digitalization in the movie due to talent availability or any other reason. Recasting actors is the way to solve time proof of this kind of problem, and I’m glad DCU gets the right tips from it Ando in this regard. Because I am an adult, I can handle it.
