Meta brings live translation and AI of smart glasses to more people

Meta AI, the most fun thing you can do with Thunder Brown Element Glasses, will soon be used for more people. The company's live translation capabilities are being launched to all product markets, and live AI (where you can have free conversations about what you see) will soon be available in the United States and Canada. Additionally, glasses owners in the EU can eventually use Meta AI using high-tech specifications.
Live translations were previously available in early visits and are now being launched in every area of Thunder Brown Element Glasses. Easy to travel abroad or chat with locals speaking another language, AI-powered features can be told in real-time in your preferred language. You can also view the translated transcript on your phone.
Real-time translations are available in English, French, Italian and Spanish. And if you download your preferred language pack ahead of time, you can use it to use a Wi-Fi connection, or even use mobile data from your paired phone. You can start the feature by saying “Hey, start live translation.”
Now we and Canadian users can use Meta's Live AI feature, which allows you to ask questions about your surroundings without saying “Hey Meta”. (You can even break it.) Another feature that was previously only available in Beta, Live AI lets you chat with glasses of natural language related environments, asking it to explain things like ingredients for a meal missing or the best wine paired with. You can say, “Hey, start live AI” to start.
In addition, Meta AI is finally rolling out to all EU support countries. Starting next week, EU countries will get a visual search feature that answers questions about their individual prompts about their surroundings, but (unlike Live AI) can’t have a free-flowing conversation with interruptions.
Instagram integration for glasses is also expanding. Meta says you can send and receive Instagram DMS, photos, audio calls and video calls very quickly. They have supported phone calls and messages through WhatsApp and Messenger and your mobile messaging app, so Glasses now have a reliable list of communication options. You can first say, “Hey, Message to [your recipient’s name] On Instagram. ”
Music app support is expanding to the United States and Canada. The company is offering products in non-North America, powering Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music and Shazam. Updated once in real time, you can ask glasses, like “Hey, what is the name of this song?” or “Hey, Meta, when will this album be released?”
While there are no major hardware upgrades announced today (rumored to be released with the next revision of the screen later this year), Meta and Ray-Ban are launching new styles for the second-generation glasses. These include a new Skyler frame and lens color combination, including a chalk gray with blue, a blue color gray with blue, and a “more timeless” Skyler Skyler Skyler Shiny Black with G15 green lens and Skyler Skyler Skyler Skyler Shiny Black with clear lenses.
