Shilo Sanders' attention at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie mini camp is not as much as his younger brother Shedeur.
But that doesn't matter, as long as he continues to impress the new coach.
Shilo Sanders signed with the Buccaneers, a team that needs some minor help to enter the 2025 season, hoping he can break the 53-man squad in Week 1. Although there are still months left in training camp, he did a great job and did a great job with head coach Todd Bowles.

“Like the rest of the security, he's very smart, he's very loud,” said Bowles. “You can hear him (on the field), make the phone calls and everything, so he has a good grasp of Day 1. There are about three or four that do it. He's one of them, but you have to do the game on the mat. It's down to what to do – know what to do – and then know, and then be consistent every day, doing it more stably every day.”
Sanders also knows how good impressions in the media are in his favor as he ensures a handshake during his availability. After the introduction was completed, he discussed the opportunity.

“Man, look where we are,” he said. “Look at the whole coaching staff. It's a very supportive coaching staff. Everyone wants to see everyone is good. Everyone on the team, we all want to win each other. It's a great environment.”
Sanders also impressed with new teammates, including third-round draft pick Jacob Parrish.
“He's smart,” he said. “He helped me a lot by adjusting. I'm happy to work with him.”

As a secondary member, Sanders has been compared to his Hall of Fame father, Deion Sanders, who is natural. But the 25-year-old just wanted to work and thanked the Pirates for the opportunity to show them he could help this season.
“They gave me a chance in front of anyone, so I'm forever grateful to the Pirates and I'm going to do everything I can to help this team win,” he said. “That's what I want.”
Antoine Winfield Jr. is a Pro Bowles veteran in defense of Bowles, so free safety is the only possible scene for Sanders. However, with each good secondary demand depth, these players are also key works for special teams.
Sanders thinks he can distinguish himself from his backpack by showing that he can impose a mistake.

“I've been a guy who has taken the ball in any way, shape or form throughout my career.” “Forced to fumble, pick, I'm going to catch the ball. That's the whole point of defense. We want to get the ball off.”
