Sinner sweeps Bublik, Vienna small forward takes on De Minaur – Tennis Now

The top seed’s serve hit rate was as high as 64%. He hit 14 of 14 first-serve points in the first set and scored three hold points in the set.

Throughout the week, Sinner hit smaller balls, especially on the forehand, more often than he usually hits soft balls. Sinner used lobs and smashes in the second set before earning a break point with an inside-out forehand winner.

Sinner broke serve with a forehand, and the score was 3-2.

The lanky Italian will be pleased with his accurate serving this week. Sinner hit an ace to save the break at 4-2.

In the semifinals, Sinner hit his seventh and eighth aces in a row, finishing the game with 21 winners and 11 errors in 76 minutes.
