Alex Cooper accuses college football coach of sexual harassment

In a new documentary, the host of the “Talk Her Father” podcast claims she was harassed by a former Boston University football coach Nancy Feldman. Cooper played for the university’s women’s football team between 2013 and 2015, according to the university’s website.

Cooper, 30, filed charges in her new documentary, Call her AlexSunday, June 8, premieres at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on Tuesday, June 10.

Cooper claimed in the documentary that Feldman began to “fix on me, more than any other teammate of mine” in his sophomore year, calling the so-called experience “confusing.”

Podcaster said she eventually introduced her parents to what was called harassment at the time. Her parents contacted an attorney who suggested the university could delay legal cases for many years people. During the Q&A after her new documentary premiere, Cooper described the experience as “dismasing.”

“I wanted to tell women to come forward, but I did, I didn’t believe it, and it took ten years,” she said.

“I’m ashamed of spending 10 years on me,” Cooper continued. “But it makes me very questionable, and I think this documentary, although it’s hard to explore, actually thinks it’s just the beginning. … It really makes me feel open to the difficulties of the system, and it’s like women for us.”

Cooper studied film and television at BU and graduated in 2017. Feldman retired from the college’s track and field department in 2022 after 27 years of coaching.
