State police said he is 9 years old

Police in New York state said they found a nine-year-old Canadian girl who disappeared in northeastern New York.
Police in the Warren County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a man reporting his 9-year-old daughter’s disappearance in the exit 22 area of Lake George I-87, possibly due to kidnapping before 10 p.m. ET, according to a press release from the New York State Police Department.
They said the child was identified as Canadian resident Melina Frattolin, whose father was 45-year-old Luciano Frattolin.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office initially led the investigation and as the case progressed, officials identified inconsistencies between father’s statements about the incident and Melina’s timeline for disappearance, the release said.
New York police found Melina dead in Ticonderoga, New York, about 50 kilometers east of Lake George, New York, in Ticonderoga, New York on Sunday.
The investigation has been handed over to the New York State Police Department, and police say there is no sign of a kidnapping or a threat to the public.
There was no news about the allegations in the press release, and New York State Police did not immediately answer questions about Melina’s death.
