Trump says autism must be “artificially induced”

President Trump said on Thursday that autism cannot occur naturally because it expands the peak in autism and suggests that the administration makes the United States Health Again (MAHA) committee can provide the answer. “When you hear 10,000, that's one in 10,000, and now it's one in 31 of autism, I think it's just a terrible thing. The outside that has to be artificially induced has to be a thing,” Trump said at a Maha committee event. “And, we don't allow industries we should oversee to capture our public health system. So we ask for answers, the public asks for answers, and that's why we're here.” He noted that the government is phasing out eight of the most common artificial food dyes, after the Food and Drug Administration announced last month that it was taking action to use petroleum dyes in U.S. food, citing concerns about the health effects of potential health on children.
