TCL’s latest TV will automatically calibrate wireless speakers

Dolby’s automatic speaker calibration technology is elastically connected via TCL’s 2025 QD-MINI LED TVS. The company owns the technology in 2023 and works with TCL’s 2024 TV lineup.
FlexConnect allows users to place wireless speakers anywhere in the room without worrying about the perfect configuration. Surround sound will then be automatically optimized based on the layout of the room and the position of the speakers.
The first audio device supporting the technology will be TCL’s Z100 smart speaker, which is designed to work with TCL’s FlexConnect enabled TV. TCL’s precision dimming series, including and TCL will be compatible.
Users will be able to pair up to four Z100 speakers with their TCL TV, which will work with the TV’s built-in speakers to provide smartly calibrated Dolby Atmos Sound. This innovation allows for immersive spatial sound without the need for a fully symmetrical speaker setup.
“With Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, consumers can gain greater flexibility and adaptability in how they design their home entertainment systems while removing the pressure on speakers to be in the right place for an incredible Dolby Atmos experience.”
TCL said it expects the Z100 speaker this summer. The Z100 and TCL precision dimming series represent the first FlexConnect product launched in the United States. Along with the QM8K release, TCL is also its first party speaker model, as well as the latest Dolby Atmos Soundbar Q65H.
