Australian Open prize money: Organizers announce record $111.5 million prize pool

Australian Open organizers announced on Tuesday that the prize pool has reached a record A$111.5 million, the highest in the tournament’s history.
This $111.5 million is a 16% increase from $96.5 million in 2025. Qualifying has been increased by 16% and all singles and doubles players will receive at least a 10% increase.
“This 16 per cent growth demonstrates our commitment to supporting tennis at all levels,” Tennis Australia chief executive Craig Tiley said. “From increasing qualifying prize money by 55 per cent from 2023 to improving player welfare, we are ensuring professional tennis is sustainable for all participants.”
The singles champion will receive US$4.15 million, a year-on-year increase of 19%. The runner-up will receive $2.15 million and the semifinalists will receive $1.25 million.
