After years of thinking, Tesla is almost ready to start selling its electric cars in India, according to Bloomberg News. The company is about to open its first showroom in Mumbai and may start deliveries as early as August, the report said.

Hours after Bloomberg published his report, Tesla specially created an account for it on CEO Elon Musk’s social media platform X. The account has a post so far: illustrations of the Mumbai Skyline, titled “To Become Out”.

Tesla has been entering many new markets as it drains the existing market of its existing electric vehicle lineup. Earlier this year, the company began selling electric vehicles in Saudi Arabia’s oil-rich country.

India can be especially challenging for a number of reasons, including prices. Tesla will have to export vehicles already built to the country, so they will bear a 70% import tax, Reuters said. Tesla once held talks with Indian government officials and was close to implementing an agreement to establish a factory there. But the company never completed the deal.
